The plant is certified ISO 9001-2000
The plant in São Joaquim da Barra was built by CAROL in 1975 and it underwent a modernization and expansion process which included the automation of many processes in 2004.
It is located over an area of 194 thousand square meters and has a total of 18.5 thousand square meters of built area.
The Group plans to start lecithin production in 2012.
