Sodrugestvo Group Expands Into the United States With Stake in North Dakota Canola Crushing Plant
KALININGRAD, Russia and NEW YORK, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Sodrugestvo Group (www.sodrugestvo.com), a fast-growing agro-industrial company headquartered in Kaliningrad, Russia, has entered the U.S. market by acquiring a minority stake in North Dakota Oilseed Mills, LLC, a joint-venture with Northwood Mills, LLP, a canola crushing plant based in Northwood, North Dakota near Grand Forks.
NEW YORK and KALININGRAD, Russia, June 23, 2010 – The Sodrugestvo Group of Companies (www.sodrugestvo.com), a fast-growing agro-industrial company headquartered in Kaliningrad, Russia with 18 locations and facilities in seven countries, has appointed Feintuch Communications, Inc. The EBRD is providing $40 million to a leading Russian agribusiness group under two loans signed today at the EBRD’s Annual General Meeting in Zagreb. The Bank is advancing a seven-year loan of $15 million to Trans Agro, a wholly-owned Russian subsidiary of the Sodrugestvo group, to buy up to 500 railway wagons, as well as a three-year working capital loan of $25 million to Sodrugestvo Soya CJSC.
