The first shipment of grains from the Sodugestvo terminal

The first shipment of grains from the Sodugestvo terminal was made on 26th September 2008. This shipment, of 2,250 tonnes of feed wheat, was exported to Europe by JSC Sodrugestvo under a contract for a total of 8,000 tonnes for execution by 10th October. The entire volume of wheat was purchased in the Belgorod oblast and was delivered to the terminal by rail.
       Further contracts for the transfer 5,300 tonnes of rapeseed in September and October and of 20,000 tonnes of beet pulp for export by the end of the year have also been concluded.
       The JSC "Sodrugestvo-soya" terminal has the abilty to transfer grains transported by rail, directly to vessels with a load-carrying capacity of up to 5000 tonnes, and accumulation of shipments to 5 000 tonnes in warehouses at the terminal site, with the subsequent shipment to European ports.
