Marine Terminal

The marine terminal is located in an area stretching along the coastal line of the Kaliningrad Maritime Canal and has the following specifications:
  • Sea border    – 1,280 meters
  • Waterfront    – 875 meters
  • Double-sided wharf (2 х 260 m, 10.5 meters deep)    – 520 meters
  • 2 front wharves (5.1 meters deep)    – 355 meters
The deep-water terminal can accommodate vessels on the wharf with the carrying capacity of up to 30,000 metric tons.

The double-sided wharf is 260 meters long and is outfitted with two mobile pneumatic loading devices for bulk loads.

One loading/unloading device is mounted on the wharf.

One of its kinds in Russia, this marine terminal is properly equipped for transshipment of hard tropical vegetable oils.

Two new modern ice class towboats can perform towing, canting and mooring operations of any level of difficulty along the entire length of the Kaliningrad Maritime Canal from the outer harbor at Baltiysk to Kaliningrad.

Capacity of the Loading/Unloading Terminal (24 hrs):
  • unloading of soybeans and grains (bulk cargo)    12,000 metric tons
  • loading of grain (bulk cargo)    5,000 metric tons
  • loading/unloading of meals, corn gluten     5,000 metric tons
  • unloading of vegetable oils (bulk liquid)    9,000 metric tons
  • optional railroad car processing    160 units (10,000 metric tons)
